A Celebration of God's Faithfulness

For Sebrina and her family, August 14–15 is more than a date on the calendar.

It marks one of the most frightening moments of their lives — the time Sebrina's husband suffered a heart attack and had to be brought back to life.

In that moment, there was fear, uncertainty, and no way to know exactly what would happen next. But there was also prayer, faith, and the decision to keep trusting God one moment at a time.

Sebrina later shared this experience in Unwavering Faith because it became a real-life example of what it means to trust God when the outcome is unknown.

What could have become an anniversary of loss instead became an annual celebration of life, gratitude, and God's faithfulness.

Each year, when August 14–15 comes around, their family remembers what happened and gives thanks for another year.

He is still here.

Still living.

Still giving their family another reason to say, thank You, God.

Faith for Real Life

Faith does not mean pretending that fear is not real. Sometimes faith simply means continuing to pray, trust, and hold on to God when you do not know what the next moment will bring.

For this family, August 14–15 is now a reminder of just how much there is to be grateful for.
